It’s 2018 and dry herb vape technology has blossomed. Pax has some nifty tech in the Pax 3, but it’s all related to user sensing and phone-connecting. It’s still a hot can of weed with the most basic conduction vapor achievable.
I recently released a 1-year review video of the Pax 3. It’s a great little device, dependable and user-friendly. It’s rugged. It’s sleek and sexy.
But from a full-time vaporist, the vapor kinda sucks.
The Pax 3 is $200 and comes with a charger, 2 mouthpieces, cleaning brush, extra screen, and a 10 year warranty.
All things considered – It’s still a good value. This device will last you a long time.
At nearly half the cost ($119), the Xvape Starry is a wonderful device. Very similar in size/shape to the Pax. BETTER vapor than the Pax 3. Removable/replaceable 18650 battery. Full temp control.
For $150 you can get the Healty Rips Fury 2. This tiny little vape uses hybrid heating (convection AND conduction) to maximize vapor and extraction. The vapor from this is considerably better than the Pax 3. It also includes a water pipe adapter.
