Ghost MV-1 Vape Released

FINAL UPDATE: The Ghost Has Died: HERE

Another new vape company enters the market!
The new company: Ghost Vapes!
Their first contender: The Ghost MV-1 – Dry herb and Concentrate vape.

This new vape has been introduced by Bud. He’s been helping the company develop the vape, which means it’s GOTTA BE GOOD!
It’s labeled an on-demand full convection vaporizer.
This means it heats the air on the intake and uses that hot air to heat the herb.

UPDATE:
I received my MV1 back in September. I used and abused it for 30 hours in order to rush out a video.
Although the vapor from the MV1 is in a league of its own – seriously, the vapor is top notch – the rest of the vape was a let down.

Since the video’s release, I’ve been working with Ghost to test improvements they’re making.
Ghost has made improvements to the mouthpiece assembly to remove the gritty/grinding sound.
The high pitch squealing has been greatly reduced.
The original unit I received is leaky – the heatsink doesn’t always make a seal.
Ghost has replaced it with a fully functional unit.

I am working on an update review.
In the meantime:
I LOVE the vapor from the Ghost.
But I HATE the interface of loading and using it.

I've been medicating with vaporizers, legally, since 2012. I started reviewing dry herb vaporizers and other cannabis products in 2015. I fell in love with creating content around vapes and cannabis vaporization. I'm passionate about the topic and the community. I love bringing people together and I love helping them understand the ins and outs of vaping weed.

It is not cooled by “intake air” whatever you were trying to mean by that. The photo above simply displays the air path while showing how far the air must travel before it reaches your mouth. Cool air is drawn in from the atmosphere outside the handheld device and over past the heating element which super heats the air. It then proceeds to move through a series of constantly changing paths in an effort to elongate the distance the air must travel giving it time to cool.

Thanks for the comment, Carter. What I meant, was the “vapor cooling heatsink” is also cooled by the air intake. The air intake path appears to also pass through the same heatsink that cools the vapor (just a different part of it.)
That intake will actively cool the heatsink, which makes cooler vapor and a more efficient convection heatup.

How come the COST is never given? So how much does it cost?

And…how long does the battery last on a charge (considering the different heating temps)? That’s never discussed either…….
