The newest ball vape of 2026 is here, and it’s powered by halogen!
MUSA 3000 uses a halogen light bulb packed in a shell of 3000 tiny glass balls.
The light bulb radiates heat into the 2mm balls, making the surface area of all those balls a super-powerful convection heater.
The MUSA 3000 is an Artisan-made ball vape from Germany. It’s €445, or about $520 USD.

Unboxing / What’s Included
MUSA 3000 bundles may vary. Mine included everything but the bong and weed.
The kit includes:
- MUSA 3000 Ball Vape (assembled & filled)
- Metal Bowl (14mm male joint)
- Variable Voltage Power Supply
- Slate Insulative Coaster
- 5 small screens, 10 large screens
- poker/stir tool
- extra bulb

The Musa 3000 came packed in a box with everything included. The ball vape itself is sealed in a bag, while the power supply and extra bulb are protected by paper packaging.
I love that it came with an extra bulb. I doubt I’ll ever need it, but it’s reassuring knowing that I have a backup.

Visually Remarkable
The MUSA 3000 instantly took the crown as the most beautiful vaporizer on my shelf the moment it lit up. Without power, it’s a classy and elegant piece of craftsmanship. With power, it becomes a mythical steampunk wizardly weed-wand.
This ball vape is easily one of the prettiest vaporizers in my collection.

The body, screens, and snap-ring are all stainless steel. I chose a Mango wood handle.
Its top screen shines with a subtle warm glow while the vaporizer is powered. Thousands of glass balls packed around that little light bulb create a surprisingly pleasing ambient lighting.
The bulb’s glow is visible at the top and bottom of the MUSA.

Lower Power & Slower Heat Up Times
MUSA3000 draws less power than other ball vapes because it uses a small light bulb instead of a PID and coil heater.
This has Pros and Cons! Less power means slower heat-up times. The MUSA 3000 needs 15-20 minutes to heat up before use. Hitting it prematurely yields wispy vapor and extends the heat-up time by 10 minutes. Once it’s hot, the heat seems relentless!
This vape would be an excellent option for people who are mindful of their daily power consumption, living off the grid, and similar use cases. A mobile MUSA 3000 with battery backup and solar panels would be the life.
Multi-Position Metal Bowl
MUSA 3000 includes a stainless steel bowl. The orange silicone o-rings serve as both handles and seals for the glass joint. The bowl has two screen positions. The lower screen setting is better suited to microdosing, even though it’s also the largest-capacity configuration.

The bowl is heavy for its size. The rubber o-rings are secure. They don’t slide around at all. I was worried that the o-rings would feel too crafty and insecure, but the fit is tight. It actually feels great!
I don’t notice any metallic flavor from the bowl, but I trust there is some subtle flavor signature from it. I will look for a glass bowl for comparison and update this review as soon as possible.

I’ve been comparing the two screen positions and am torn between them. The lower position screen holds my preferred amount of herb. Both screen configurations can be filled if desired. The sweet spot seems to be 0.2-.04g.
Lower Position Screen

Upper Position Screen

Both screen configurations perform best when there is enough herb to fully cover the screen, which is why the smaller screen is best for microdosing.
Vapor Potency & Flavor
This vape has massive flavor and power potential. It also has excellent airflow, making it an outstanding vape for people with large lungs. I take big, fast hits, and this vape keeps up no problem.
The MUSA 3000 doesn’t radiate or conduct heat, at least not with this bowl. It’s a convection vaporizer.
Materials in vapor path: Stainless steel top screen, halogen light bulb, glass balls, stainless steel sidewalls, stainless steel bottom screen(s), stainless steel bowl, stainless steel bowl screen, stainless steel joint walls.
MUSA 3000’s flavor is as good as I’d expect from a metal bowl and metal housing. I’m pleasantly surprised by its purity, but I really want to try it with an all-glass bowl. Even though I don’t taste the metal, I know that it’s affecting the flavor.

Compared to Other Ball Vapes
MUSA 3000 is a remarkable piece of technology. It’s the only halogen-powered desktop vaporizer to take seriously – sorry Herbalizer.
Its vapor is pure and tasty – but not as clean as the all-glass Universal Baller.
MUSA 3000 offers a unique footprint and vaping style, with a lower power draw than other ball vapes, but it doesn’t outperform.
It’s easy to love for its charming glow, crisp halogen vapor signature, wide-open airflow, and relentless power.
This is a vaporizer for enthusiasts, collectors, and special use-cases. See my Ball Vapes Guide to learn more.

Performance & Settings
I started out at 9.6 and found the vapor extremely flavorful. This vape shines, literally, at the lower temperatures. I like it hotter, though. I’ve been dialing it in closer to 10.4 or 10.5.
I thought I had it perfect at 10.6, but it combusted after a few successful one-hit extractions.
Voltage | Vapor | Result |
|---|---|---|
7 | Light, European Style | Heady high, green ABV |
8 | Strong Flavor + Vapor | Enjoyable high, greenish-ABV |
9 | Full Flavor, thick vapor | Euphoria & Zero Gravity |
10 | Maximum Flavor, one hit extraction | Space Travel |
10.5 | Robust & Roasty | Maximum Stonage |
