Airvape Legacy Pro 2 – 2025 Updates

The newest Airvape Legacy Pro is back, featuring even more impressive features and promising performance.

The 2025 or V2.5 version of the Legacy Pro retains the same great heater and vapor performance as the previous version, while also promising to alleviate complaints of difficult cleaning.

The $269 ALP2 boasts powerful convection heating, on-demand and session modes, gold-plated bowl screens, wireless charging, and a removable battery.

Easier to Clean

The previous iteration of the Airvape Legacy Pro was plagued by tedious maintenance routines and screens that were difficult to set.

Airvape’s 2025 Legacy Pro brings a never-before-seen magnetic screen. The screen is now twice the size and no longer held in place with a finicky silicone seal. The new design allows the screen to snap into place perfectly.

The glass airpath and other components are the same, or too similar to notice a difference.

The screen is easier to clean, and the vape should be a breeze to maintain and reassemble now. The magnetic screen design is very clever.

Hinged Clamshell

I hate this aspect of the Airvape Legacy Pro design. The hinged lid requires a conscious effort and a short list of physical manipulation rules. It may be entirely personal, or perhaps simply a trigger point, but the flapping lid interface annoys me.

Its design requires additional motor movements and extra attention to orientation and gravity. Emptying the vape isn’t as simple as opening the lid and turning the device upside down. The dangling lid gets in the way of my debowler. It pinches my fingers if I mishandle it.

Overall, the clamshell interface is unenjoyable and cumbersome compared to other vapes. It’s the one thing that prevents this vape from winning any reach tests. It’s a great functional vape, but it currently does not make my list of Best Portable Vapes

I've been medicating with vaporizers, legally, since 2012. I started reviewing dry herb vaporizers and other cannabis products in 2015. I fell in love with creating content around vapes and cannabis vaporization. I'm passionate about the topic and the community. I love bringing people together and I love helping them understand the ins and outs of vaping weed.

Little wonder you can’t figure how to use this original clam shell design. you are shown a biased, ego nut, who thinks his shit does not stink.. you did not bother to read the updates or how to use the cleaning improvements besides the mag screen because you don’t need too. your an expert. your not, just a ego clown who acts like a smart alec. the claim shell works great, i’m 8 times a day vapor user. can’t believe your so jaded you can’t get used to the simple clam shell design. i know you aren’t going to publish this because you censor your website.
