The Crossing Tech Matrix bowl is an adjustable metal screen bowl that fits the 22mm diffuser side, and a glass bowl with a basket screen that fits the injector side.
The metal bowl can hold a considerable amount of herb, but it works best with 0.25-0.3 g. This bowl can even vape whole nugs.
The One Hit Wonder ball vape can also use a standard 18mm glass injector bowl. These glass bowls are inexpensive and widely available from several online vape stores, as many modern ball vapes utilize them.
Using the One Hit Wonder with an injector bowl removes the conduction and radiant heat from the vapor, making it more terpy with less body.
The V1 Ti version of the WOHW used a slightly smaller diffuser, which limited its compatibility. The V2 features an increased thermal mass and a more compatible diffuser size.

Stainless Steel vs Ti WOHW
The WOHW V2 ball vape is made in two different metals – Stainless Steel and Titanium.
The stainless WOHW is significantly heavier than the Titanium version. It has more thermal mass and will outperform the Titanium version for users who take the biggest hits.
The Titanium version is lighter and may taste purer to people sensitive to stainless steel. On the flip side, people who are sensitive to Titanium will prefer the Stainless Steel version.
For most users, the difference between the two will be subtle.

Here’s a video of the One Hit Wonder in action. I used the Cannabis Hardware Coil Heater to heat the vape to 600°F. The bowl is the Terp Chasers Club all-glass microdosing bowl.
If you don’t have a ball vape, the WOHW will impress you. Even other vape reviewers are calling this the best ball vape ever, because the performance difference of ball vapes is so drastic.
Wohw Ball Vape Buying Decisions
There are a few key settings that affect the performance and experience of the WOHW. These options may be highly subjective, but the effects on the vapor can be described objectively.
Ball Size & Media Type
The size, shape, and type of media are major contributors to flavor and performance.
2.5mm ruby balls are my favorite in this vape. They provide the perfect draw resistance and a super quick time-to-first-vapor. The WohW holds about 450 2.5mm balls.
3mm ruby balls perform just as well. The WohW with 3mm balls has more airflow, but slightly less power. The difference is easily compensated for by increasing the PID temperature. The WOHW holds 220 3mm balls.
Zirconium balls are also available in 2mm, 2.5mm, and 3mm. Zirconium balls express terpene flavors slightly better at lower temperatures, but taste dry at higher temperatures.

Bowl Options
The Crossing Matrix Bowl is a metal diffuser bowl with very few refinements. Out of the box, this bowl needs tuning. I found it works better with its screen raised, limiting the bowl size to .25g
The Crossing Glass Micro Bowl was designed for the Ruby Twist but fits into the injector for an exceptional microdosing experience. It uses a small metal basket screen, which adversely affects flavor and is difficult to clean.
Dabhut’s 22mm Glass Diffuser Bowl was designed for the Universal Baller and adapted to the WOHW ball vape. This bowl delivers bold flavor and impact thanks to its all-glass design. The dry herb sits very close to the balls and heater, giving the vapor additional potency from the conduction and radiant heat. This is my favorite bowl for the Wireless One Hit Wonder.

Wireless One Hit Wonder uses a 25mm coil, axial or barrel style.
TheDabHut sells a slightly improved coil if you plan to use the full-sized housing. The coil isn’t a tipping point, but a well-fitting coil matters for performance.
Housings & Stands
Vgoodiez and TheDabHut both sell Crossing Tech’s WOHW housing. This aluminum block features a heat shield and coil-mounting hardware, serving as a wireless ball vape stand. It even has extra holes for bowls and tools.
