The Universal Baller is a ball vape with several innovative and sought-after features. A titanium shell protects its 100% glass and crystal heater and vapor path. The Universal Baller can be cordless or used with the coil attached for maximum power and speedy reheat times. There’s no metal in its vapor path!
The Universal Baller is one of the most potent, purest, and customizable ball vaporizers.

Innovative Armored Quartz Design
The Universal Baller is not like other ball vapes. This vape is lined with quartz and filled with rubies. The airpath is 100% quartz and ruby. There are no metal screens and no metal is exposed to the airpath.
The Universal Baller is filled with 750 2mm ruby balls. This is a high-powered dry herb vaporizer with a $430 price tag.
The Universal Baller’s metal housing provides protection and serves as a thermal battery. It has the purest flavor without compromising fragility. Other 100% quartz ball vapes are on the market, but are fragile and suffer from weak performance. The Universal Baller’s metal housing gives this ball vape additional thermal capacity. It outperforms all other pure quartz ball vapes and is more rugged.
My Universal Baller is Stainless Steel. It’s also available in Titanium. Titanium and stainless steel have different thermal properties, and the Ti version may perform differently from the stainless.
Incredibly Pure & Potent Vapor
The Universal Baller has remarkable vapor. The all-glass heater and vapor path deliver the purest flavor available. This ball vape expresses terpenes and flavors that other vaporizers wash away.
I’ve tried many all-quartz ball vapes. This is the first one to convince me.
The Universal Baller’s vapor is bright and loud. Lower temperatures and large bowls will leave your eyes watering with terp-tears. At higher temperatures, this vape will give you the “dab sweats.”
Very few ball vapes deliver terpene flavor this pure, and no other vaporizer can do what this vape does.
Corded or Cordless Ball Vape
This ball vape can be used with the coil attached or configured as a cordless ball vape. In cordless mode, the coil is mounted to the base, and the Universal Baller vape head sits in the coil to heat up. Cordless configuration means freedom from tethering, but some thermal compromises are made.
The Cordless Universal Baller takes about 10 minutes to heat up and a minute or two to recover heat after a big hit.
With the coil attached, the vape heats up in about 8 minutes and only needs 30 or 45 seconds in between hits.
The Universal Baller performs better with the coil attached, but its stand is better used as a cordless ball vape. In the coiled configuration, there is no secure place to set down the hot vape head.
Bowl Options & All Glass Vapor Path
The Universal Baller comes with an all-glass bowl. This bowl has a permanently installed glass screen, a small handle, and an 18mm glass joint. I like that it comes with an 18mm glass joint. Ball vapes need higher airflow, and 18mm should be the standard.
All-glass screens let a lot of organic material slip through, resulting in more frequent cleaning. I recommend using an ash catcher or a dry catch to keep your bong cleaner while using this bowl.
The Universal Baller has an optional Hybrid Bowl. This bowl also has a 100% glass vapor path, but it has a metal housing that will heat up more during use, resulting in thicker vapor and faster extraction.
This bowl is a work of art! Its design matches the armored glass style of the Universal Baller, and its performance is similar to other diffuser-style ball vapes.
The Hybrid Bowl is $60 and worth it. The metal housing does not directly affect the flavor as it’s not in the vapor path.
This bowl holds .2-.35g. It can be used with smaller amounts, but the vape performs best with .2 or more.
Customizing the Universal Baller – Changing Balls, etc
The quartz lining of the Universal Baller is open on one end. The vaporizer comes apart, and its guts can be reconfigured and customized. It comes with a fritted quartz screen and a drilled quartz screen. The quartz liner can be removed entirely for a standard ball vape experience.
You can even swap the 2mm ruby balls out for gems or Moissanite. The Universal Baller is modular and highly customizable.
Compared to Other Ball Vapes
This vape performs as well as my #1 most-used ball vapes and tastes better than the rest.
The Universal Baller, as a Cordless Ball Vape, is similar to the Ace or Mercury performance. It’s a heavy hitter with plenty of power for most people. It can fully extract smaller amounts in a single hit.
I run the UB and the Ace at the same temperature, 620°F.
With the coil attached, the Universal Baller performs very similarly to the Screwball. It’s not quite as punchy as the Screwball, but the flavor is brighter and more clean-tasting.
The Universal Baller continues to battle the Ace and the Screwball as my #1 most reached for ball vape.
