This year I doubled down on my data-driven vape analysis and overhauled my vaporizer ranking system. Two new vapor specific categories have been added to my vaporizer ranking system, and I’ve created an entirely new vapor scoring system.
This is for scoring individual hits during a multi-hit session. Each PFVS Radar box scores a single hit.
The PFVS score ranks vapors four most crucial characteristics on a 1-5 scale and graphs them on a simple RADAR chart.
Using these small blank radar charts, I can quickly document the basics of each hit.
Each score is a potential 1-5, with 1 being bad and 5 being exceptional.
This type of vapor analysis provides a consistent way to compare vaporizers and their configurations.

Example
I tested the IO Hornet bowls. I took two hits per bowl with roughly the same amount of herb.
This data shows how each of the IO Hornet bowls shines:
- The Metal Conduction bowl is punchier than both glass bowls
- but slightly less flavorful and slightly hotter/harsher
- The Glass Injector bowl had the best flavor
- nearly punchy as the metal bowl, while being less stoney
- Glass Stinger bowl blends the two
- delivers slightly more punch than injector
- and slightly more flavor than metal bowl
