The Italian-made Vapman Click is a new, updated, and refreshed version of the classic Vapman Vaporizer.
Vapman Click has the same clean and elegant look and feel as the original Vapman and Vapman 2.0, but with a few excellent upgrades. The “Click” in the name refers to a new thermal sensor that clicks as the vaporization temperature threshold is crossed. It will click as you heat it to let you know it’s ready to vape, and it will click again as it cools down to let you know it’s ready for more heat. The thermal indicator makes the Vapman considerably easier to use and master.
The Vapman Click also has a larger bowl to better serve modern dry herb vape users. The larger bowl makes the Vapman Click easier to load and unload than the Vapman OG or 2.0.
Vapman is a manual vaporizer that does not use batteries. It uses a small torch and allows the user to control the heating.
The Vapman Click is available directly from NowInhale in Walnut ($150), Purpleheart ($200), and Raw Cherry ($99).

*Click* Upgrades & Differences
The updated Vapman Click features a larger bowl and an audible *click* alert system to make the vape much easier to use. The original Vapman and Vapman 2.0 have no temperature alert system whatsoever. The Vapman Click has a bi-metal disc installed in the bottom of the bowl that bends and makes a clicking sound when heated to vaporization temps. It clicks again as it cools down, letting you know it’s time to torch again.
The bowl is gold-plated copper like the original Vapman and will hold up to .25g of dry herb tightly packed. A standard loose pack will hold .08-.18g, depending on how you grind. The Vapman Click performs well, whether packed tightly or loosely.
The Vapman Click upgrades make the vaping experience considerably easier. The *Click* indicator makes it friendly for first-timers and becomes a precision vaping tool for experienced Vapman users. The clicking mechanism is substantial enough to feel with sensitive fingertips. The mechanical aspect of this thermal indicator is incredibly pleasing, especially while high.
The Vapman clicks at 356F, the low end of vapor production. After hearing the click, I continue heating for about 6 seconds to achieve vaporization temps closer to 430F.
Packaging: What’s Included
The Vapman Click comes in a semi-hardshell case—and that’s it! It doesn’t come with a torch, a funnel, or a concentrate pad like the Vapman OG and Vapman 2.0.
Like the Vapman 2.0, the Vapman Click has an intercooler installed in the mouthpiece. This tiny, twisted piece of metal cools the vapor and makes it smoother. The Vapman Click bowl and mouthpiece filter fit into separate or the same compartments of the case.
You’ll need a small torch to heat the vapman. NowInhale sells a $14 torch that’s pretty good, and a $9 torch that’s OK. I prefer a slightly larger torch than the manufacturer recommends.
Build Quality & Design
The Vapman Click scores a 9.4 in Build Quality & Design. It feels incredible to hold. It’s a beautifully crafted vaporizer with an interesting and peculiar design. The Vapman Click is constructed of wood, metal, and mica. There’s no plastic to melt and no glass to crack. The Vapman Click Pure doesn’t have mica.
The gold-plated copper bowl is secured inside the wooden body, and everything feels solid and sturdy – just like the original Vapman vaporizer.
The Vapman Click is surprisingly rugged and durable. Even without its protective case, the vaporizer can survive substantial abuse. If you take care of it, it will last a lifetime.
The $101 Vapman Click Pure is made of Cherry wood, and its wooden body doesn’t have the protective mica lining. This version cannot withstand the same heavy use and abuse as the more expensive versions with the mica. The Pure version of the Vapman Click may even have a slightly woody flavor from the charring wood. It’s a fun experience, but this version is for small torches and light use.
The $149 Walnut Vapman Click has a layer of mica protecting the wood from heat and flames. The walnut wood feels dense and heavy. Walnut wood is durable, safe, and beautiful.
The Amouranth is $199. That’s PurpleHeart to us Americans. The Purple Vapman Click has the WOW Factor. The Purple and Gold are a stunning combination of class and coolness. The PurpleHeart Vapman Click also has a mica lining to protect it from aggressive heating. Some users are sensitive to this wood. There’s technically no purpleheart wood in the vapor path.
Heating the Vapman Click
The Vapman Click is heated using a small torch. It’s a simple and primal experience with a special type of enjoyment. Herbs or hash are packed in the golden bowl, and the torch heats the bowl until the contents vaporize. Vapor is inhaled through the little mouthpiece. It’s a “heat it as you need it” type of vape, and the click is merely an indicator.
How I heat the Vapman Click:
Aim the flame directly at the bottom of the Vapman bowl and wait for the click. I continue heating for about 6 seconds *after* the click.
When the Vapman is packed tightly, I will move the torch in a circular motion to heat the edges of the bowl instead of the center to prolong the click and get more heating time.
I often continue heating the Vapman between hits to keep the vapor pumping or increase vapor production.
My Vapman Click sessions typically last about a few minutes. I re-heat the vaporizer three or four times while taking five or six big hits. I will often vape two bowls in a row with the Vapman Click. The 2nd bowl is even better than the first because the bowl has been pre-heated.
Vapman Oven Info & Loading Tips
The Vapman Click bowl is gold-plated copper, just like the original Vapman and Vapman 2.0. The copper distributes heat evenly, and the gold provides the purest flavor of any metal, as well as several other benefits.*
The Vapman uses conduction, convection, and radiant heat to vaporize dry herbs and/or hash.
Vaping Dry Herb with the Vapman:
The larger Vapman Click bowl will hold as little as .01 or as much as .3g. It works best with .08-.15g (dry herb).
This vape works well with a loose or tight pack. A finer grind will vaporize faster and produce a more intense flavor. Coarse grinds or even whole nugs are a bit slower and offer a longer, slower extraction.
Vaping Hash & Dabs with the Vapman:
The Vapman shines with hash and twaxed bowls. Traditional hash can be loaded directly into the bowl or smeared onto a separate screen and inserted into the bowl.
Wet and sticky hash or full-melt concentrates are best added to a dry herb bowl using the sandwich method.
This vape is better with European-style hash than American full-melt dabs.
Vapor Quality & Performance
The Vapman Click scored an 8.9 out of 10 in Vapor Potency and a 9 out of 10 in Vapor Comfort.
Vapor Potency is a blended metric of bowl size, extraction speed, and temperature range. The Vapman Click can put out thick, potent vapor with the proper technique, but this vape is designed for a slower, more mindful experience.
The Vapman Click is a simple device with simple vapor. The Click feature makes this Vapman easier to use than previous generations, but there is still a short learning curve.
The spiral intercooler and improved mouthpiece design make the vapor smooth and cool.
The vapor and mouthpiece may get a bit hot with aggressive heating, but the device never becomes unusable.
Portability
Vapman Click is a tiny little vaporizer. The vape and a torch can easily be carried in the same pocket, with room for keys.
It scored an 8.5 out of 10 in Portability – which is low compared to other portable dry herb vapes on my best portable page because most other portable vapes can be used on the go.
Portability is a blended score of a vaporizer’s ease of use on the go. I factor in how it fits in my pocket and how easy it is to use it on the go. The Vapman Click is easy to carry but difficult to use if you’re not sitting or standing still.
This vape requires 100% focus.
The included case makes carrying the Vapman easy. The small zippered case has enough padding to protect the vape from getting smooshed. Individual pouches keep the mouthpiece and base separate so they don’t rub together in transit.
Usability
The Vapman Click is easy to pack, easy to heat, and easy to hit. The learning curve is short, and overall, this vape is quite easy to master. It looks intimidating and complicated, but it’s actually simple.
As you use the Vapman Click and master its methods, you’ll perfect your packing methods, torch technique, timing, and even torch size. It’s a fun and easy vape to use. Mastering it makes it even better.
The Vapman Click is an extremely agile vaporizer in the hands of a skilled vaporist.
Vapman Click vs. Other Butane Vapes
Butane-powered vaporizers offer freedom from batteries and a primal experience that electronic vapes can’t keep up with.
Vapman Click vs. Dynavap
These two vapes have a lot in common! These vaporizers are incredibly agile, meaning they can vape hard and fast or soft and slow. Both vapes are good with hash and wax added to dry herb.
Vapman Click and Dynavap vaporizers use a bimetallic disc that clicks when the vaporization temperature is crossed.
The experience is very similar, but the shapes are different. Dynavap is cigarette-shaped, while the Vapman carries a unique micro-UFO shape. The Dynavap needs to be rotated while heating. No rotation is required while heating the Vapman.
Dynavap vaporizers can also be heated using an induction heater. The Vapman Click requires a torch.
The Vapman tastes better than the Dynavap and is easier to control. Dynavap is easier to carry and use on the go.
Vapman is better at concentrates and hash than the Dynavap, but neither excels at full-melt dabbing.
Dynavap vaporizers start at $50 and go as high as $300. To learn more about Dynavap, see my Dynavap Buying Guide.
Vapman Click vs. Dynavap Hyperdyn Ball Vape
The Ball Cap Hyperdyn is made for heavy users looking for a high-impact, fast-extracting vaporizer. It’s designed to mimic a desktop ball vape, the hardest-hitting type of dry herb vaporizer.
The HyperDyn and the Vapman Click have an analog clicking feature to alert their readiness. These two vaporizers vary greatly in dosage and intensity of effects. The Vapman Click is a light and easy vaping session with gradual and casual effects. The Hyperdyn and the rest of the Dynavap Ball Vapes deliver more intense effects.
The Vapman provides a more mindful experience. Its effects are less intense, and its session requires more focus. The Dynavap is fast and fierce. The HyperDyn is a heavy-hitting vaporizer, and the Vapman is not. Check out my HyperDyn Review to learn more.
Vapman Click vs. Lotus
The Lotus and Vapman have a lot more in common than the Dynavap.
The Lotus is like a unicycle, and the Vapman Click is a tricycle. They’re both microdosing mindfulness vaporizers, but the Lotus is full manual with no indicators. The Vapman Click at least has the click.
The Lotus is used while torching. Unlike the Vapman and Dynavap vaporizers.
The Lotus uses radiant and convection heating for an extremely tasty vapor. The Lotus is hard to use, but very rewarding.
Warranty Information
The Vapman Click comes with a 2-year warranty against defects. My original Vapman is nearly 10 years old and still working fine. If properly taken care of, these devices will last a lifetime.
Cleaning & Maintenance
While using the Vapman Click multiple times per day for testing, I found that it needed deep cleaning after 10-14 days of heavy usage. It can go much longer between cleanings, but the vapor becomes harsh, and the reclaim blocks the airpath and restricts airflow.
Cleaning the Vapman Click takes about 5 minutes. The mouthpiece is disassembled into five smaller pieces. The metal pieces can be wiped down or even soaked with isopropyl alcohol. The wooden parts don’t get dirty enough to need cleaning.
I clean the bowl with Q-tips and alcohol or those little alcohol prep pads.
TL;DR – Is the Vapman Click Right for YOU?
It’s a conversation starter. This handcrafted micro-vape is perfect for anyone looking for a battery-free, mindful method of combustion-free cannabis consumption. It’s perfect for ultra-quick, ultra-flavorful micro-dose hits anytime, anywhere.
Connoisseurs looking to enjoy the ritual of vaporizing flower and hash will appreciate the Vapman Click. Flavor chasers and taste testers will approve of the purest flavor and microdosing abilities.
Dedicated vaporizer users and non-smokers will benefit from Vapman’s unique vapor signature.
