The Venty is here and it’s amazing. The Venty is the latest portable dry herb vape from Storz & Bickel and has been the most anticipated and eagerly awaited portable vaporizer of the last 5 years.
The Venty vaporizer strikes a superb level of supremacy over other portable dry herb vapes.
With the addition of the Venty vaporizer, the Storz & Bickel lineup also includes the Volcano Hybrid, Mighty Plus, Mighty OG, Crafty Plus, Volcano Classic, and the Plenty. The Venty is the most technologically advanced vaporizer in the Storz & Bickel product line, and likely on the entire market.
The $449 Venty boasts the widest airflow of any other portable dry herb vaporizer and a heater powerful enough to keep up! This vape is wide open and the heater responds instantly to maintain vapor through the duration of even the biggest hits. No other portable vaporizer hits like the Venty.
Vapor from the Venty is the fluffiest and friendliest vapor I’ve experienced from a handheld portable dry herb vaporizer. It’s the most effortless dry herb vape available and it has enough battery power to survive a weekend of use!
What makes the Venty Vaporizer better than other vapes?
The Venty has massive airfow. Much more than any other portable. 20 liters per minute is twice as much airflow than the Mighty Plus.
The heater in the Venty is 3x more powerful to maintain vapor potency at any draw speed or intensity.
Double the airflow makes a HUGE difference
The Venty has a huge mouthpiece to maintain the 20 liters per minute flow rate, which is double the airflow of the Mighty+. The larger airflow makes the vapor smoother and less irritating for gentle inhales while opening up the gates for massive lung-busters.
The Venty is the Cadillac of portable dry herb vaporizers. It’s on the big side. It’s the smoothest ride out there. It’s fast and powerful. Also like the Cadillac, not the quickest one out there, but it’s quick enough.
The Mighty+ feels tight and restricted when compared to the open airflow of the Venty. The added airflow makes a huge difference in comfort. Vaping on the Venty is as easy as breathing through its mouthpiece – no super suction needed.
The Venty can vape 12 bowls per charge.
With an hour to cool-down between each session, the Venty fully vaped twelve bowls at 410F. Each session was 8 to 15 big healthy pulls of vapor with massive clouds and minimal coughing. I vape until the vapor turns whispy and has no more desirable flavors.
At 380F the Venty vaped 12.5 bowls on a single charge. I got 3 hits on the 13th bowl as its battery died.
The Venty has double the battery efficiency of the Mighty+. Both Venty and Mighty+ are powered by two 18650 batteries, but the Venty carries them better and makes better use of their power.
My 1-year-old Mighty+ can power through 6 or 7 bowls per charge. My *NEW* Venty can easily vape twice as many bowls as the Mighty+.
I will be repeating my battery tests every month to update this review as my Venty battery ages. My Mighty+ went from 8 bowls per charge to 6 bowls per charge in a bout 6 months and has remained at 6 bowls per charge ever since.
Venty has Adjustable Airflow
Turn the wheel on the Venty’s cooling unit to adjust the airflow. The airflow ranges from fully closed to fully open allowing you to dial it in to your preference. The orange dial has small notches to provide grip as well as indicate airflow adjustment direction. The 3rd is wide-open and the 1st is similar to the draw resistance of the Mighty+ with a fine mesh CU screen installed instead of the original Mighty screen.
The different airflow settings give the Venty subtle shifts in performance, namely the vapor density, and potency, but the restriction and negative pressure also affect the comfort of the vapor. The Venty is the first vape of its kind to offer this much power and performance paired with unmatched flavor and comfort.
The Adjustable Airflow wheel is located directly beneath the mouthpiece. The above picture shows the Venty mouthpiece removed and the adjustable airflow set to fully open.
Using the Venty at its widest airflow is as easy as inhaling. I can inhale big fluffy clouds and have a session without a lot of coughing. The Venty has changed the way I vape.
Inhaling hard and fast on the Venty will still make me cough. I can’t really overpower the heater either! The Venty keeps up with me and my big lungs.
The open airflow of the Venty has completely changed the way I use other vaporizers. The newfound comfort of resistance-free vapor has made me realize how much work my throat and lungs are doing with other vapes.
Size Matters – Venty Carries Better than Mighty
The Mighty has been in my pocket tens of thousands of times over the last decade and is easily the most used and carried vaporizer, ever.
The Venty is taller, thicker, and narrower than the Mighty – which makes it easier to carry and more accessible to hold.
I can fit two Venty vapes side-by-side in my pocket. There’s no way I can do that with two Mighty.
Venty is 1 x 1.5″ at the base and 1.5″ x 2″ at the top. It’s a surprisingly average 6″ long/tall.
The Most Comfortable Vaporizer Experience. Ever
The vapor from the Venty is remarkably smooth and fluffy. The vaporizer’s increased airflow makes using the Venty an incredibly enjoyable experience. The truncated carrot body shape also makes the Venty effortless to hold and carry. It fits perfectly in my hand and perfectly in my pocket.
I was skeptical about the shape of the Venty at first, but now I’m in love with it. It’s better in every way. I can even open and close it with one hand!
I can vape in bed without coughing and waking my wife up!
The Venty delivers the highest quality vapor and highest quality vaping experience available.
Venty Luxury Comes at a Price
The $449 Venty is the most expensive portable dry herb vaporizer on the market, excluding the handmade artisan vapes of course. That’s a car payment for most of us and not an easy purchase to make without the wife noticing. Once she vapes on the Venty though, she’ll understand!
Venty is priced higher than the $279 Crafty+ and the $399 Mighty+ but lower than the $699 Volcano Hybrid.
Is the Venty Worth It?
Four and a half bills is a premium price and the Venty delivers a premium experience that no other portable vape can match. If you desire lungfuls of fluffy delicious vapor, the Venty is the best delivery system you can get.
There are cheaper vapes that hit harder than the Venty and there are cheaper vapes that are nice to use – but no other vaporizer offers comparable airflow with ultra-comfortable vapor and 12 bowls per charge.
The Venty is worth it if you’re seeking the best or if you subscribe to the “Buy Once Cry Once” life philosophy – Cry one time over a single purchase of the best instead of purchasing multiple crappy vapes, only to end up buying the Venty in the end.
I’ve spent a lot of money on vapes so you don’t have to.

My Venty has quickly become my companion, riding shotgun with my cell phone in my daily carry electronics. Each gets used daily and is relied upon to deliver multiple times per day. They share the same charger and both of them can go days between charging. Fast USB-C charging charges the Venty up to 80% in 40 minutes, just like my cell phone. This is the future and I am thrilled to have the Venty as my daily carry.
The Venty’s open airflow invites a friendlier way to inhale vapor and I don’t ever want to go back to huffing hard to get my vapor. The Venty is like a simple vapor breathing machine.
If I lost my Venty, I would replace it immediately. The Venty is worth the cost for me because I use it daily and I value the ease of use, full & fluffy vapor, and massive battery life.
What Makes the Venty So Easy?
The Venty is the easiest-to-use vaporizer I’ve reviewed. Storz and Bickel have perfected the dry herb vape experience and the Venty is loaded with life improving features and refinements.
Twist Open Bowl
The Venty cooling unit twists off with a quarter turn counter-clockwise to reveal the bowl.
The Venty can be unloaded and reloaded faster than any other portable dry herb vape.
Easy to Load & Easy to Draw
The Venty bowl itself is funnel-shaped with a slightly wider top opening to make it very easy to load.
Those massive air holes are directly connected to the heater for high airflow convection.
Simple & Easy Controls
The button on the side turns the Venty on and starts the heating with a single press. Double-tapping will cycle through the 3 temperature presets, or use the up/down buttons to customize and control the temps.
Another Cost of Cool Clean Vapor: Cleaning
The Venty has a cleverly designed cooling unit that catches all the tiny bits of herb that get pulled through the screen. The resulting vapor is incredibly smooth and cool. Over time the inside will gunk up and need to be cleaned, or else the vapor becomes harsh and sour.
Cleaning the Venty Vaporizer Cooling Unit
The top cooling unit of the Venty is double-walled so the exterior never gets hot. The two pieces pull apart to reveal the complicated cooling channels. These surfaces need to be cleaned on a regular basis to keep the vapor smooth. Organic material and cannabis oils will eventually gunk up the inside and the cooling unit loses its performance.
Cleaning the inside of the cooling unit looks more complicated than it is. Q-tips and isopropyl alcohol make quick work of the accumulated reclaim and organic particles.
For optimal vapor performance, clean the Venty cooling unit every 30-50 bowls.
Going longer in-between cleanings will make the vapor harsh and make cleaning more difficult.
Life with the Venty Vaporizer
The Venty makes a perfect daily companion vape because it just freaking works. There’s no technique to learn or fiddly flippy things to fuck with. Just pack your weed, ground up or whole nug, turn it on, and enjoy the vapor.
The Venty’s impressive battery efficiency means I often go several days without charging and the fast charger has it fully charged in a flash.
It’s such a pleasure to use and share the Venty. Vaping dry herb in the Venty is even more fun with friends.
Venty Vape Hasn’t Been All Clouds and Rainbows Though
The Venty is near perfect and it’s not easy to find serious flaws. But with an exotic price tag, some may expect more exotic features or materials.
The body of the Venty is PEEK. This medical-grade thermoplastic is chemical resistant, high temp-friendly, and food safe, but it’s still a “plastic” shell that some just can’t get passed at this price.
Personally, I’ve grown to like the PEEK material. Storz and Bickel makes it work for them. The Mighty, Crafty, and Venty have a medical or even tactical feel to them.
The first batch of Venty vaporizers was recalled due to 1% of the vapes having Error 04 issues. Storz & Bickel replaced all vaporizers from the batch and sent customers a new vape.
The Boost Temp Modes are Too Short
Double-tapping the power button to cycle through the 3 customizable boost temps makes using the Venty super easy, but after a minute the temperature reverts to its lowest setting.
I find myself double-tapping the power button far more often than I should need to.
The Venty is likely saving battery power by reverting to a lower temp and we may see refinements to this feature in the next firmware update.
The Up/Down Buttons…
I wouldn’t normally nit-pick about something like this but the Venty is $450 and at that price, there is an expectation for perfection.
The UP button makes a different *click* sound than the DOWN button.
They click the same if I use my fingernail edge to precisely push each button, but when using my whole thumbprint the UP button has a noticeably different *thunk* to it.
Super minor, but something I’d expect to see improved.
Is the Venty the Right Vape for You?
$449 is a big investment. The Venty proves its worth to cannabis consumers looking for a luxurious, reliable, and hassle-free dry herb vaporizer.
The Venty makes a great daily carry vape. Quick breaks to vape a bowl are no problem with the 20-second heat-up. Did I mention that Venty will vape 12 bowls per charge?
The Venty’s interface, form factor and battery power are all perfect – but the best thing about the Venty vaporizer is the wide open airflow and lack of draw resistance. Vaping on the Venty is as easy as breathing.
If you’re a daily dry herb vape user, investing in a quality vaporizer is a must.
The Venty goes above and beyond quality and adds layers of luxury, interface simplicity, and the most voluptuous vapor available.

Venty vs Mighty+
The Mighty+ is the 2nd best portable dry herb vape available. The Mighty+ has less airflow than the Venty but will have a similar flavor.
Mighty+ uses USB-C charging and will fast charge with a high powered charger (not included).
Mighty+ is $319 after coupon.

Venty vs Mighty OG
The Original Mighty Vaporizer is 10 years old but still holds its own. The vapor from the Mighty OG will taste very similar to the Venty, but will have a tighter draw.
OG Mighty uses an old-school wall-plug charger and will vape 6 or 7 bowls per charge.
Mighty OG is $255 after coupon.
Venty vs Crafty+
Crafty+ is the smallest and sleekest portable from Storz. The Crafty+ vape is smaller and weaker than the Mighty and the Venty.
The Crafty has great vapor and great portability, but not great battery life.
Crafty+ is $220 after coupon
Hi, Troy & everyone –
To compare a new Venty to the Mighty+ you must clean the + cooling unit inside & out and the screen at the bottom of the oven. This oven screen may not show much until you take it out and view the bottom surface & the heater. In my experience the oven screen becomes partially clogged with reclaim on the underside, not observable from the top. After cleaning thoroughly I noticed definite improvement in draw. Hope this helps!
Thanks, Troy! I’ve been looking forward to this review. I bought the original Mighty in July 2021 only a few months before the Mighty+ came out. I held out for a year and when I had to send in my Mighty for maintenance I got a Mighty+. Now I have them both and I like them both but it takes some practice to not inhale so much vapor that I cough too much. I’ve gotten better at it and I do okay when I remember to pay attention to my inhale. But sometimes I still cough too much with the Mighty. It seems that I may cough less with the Venty and that would be a big improvement. I’m just wondering if it would be a big enough improvement to justify yet another Storz & Bickel expensive vaporizer when I already have two. I probably wouldn’t regret it. I also find the Mighty harder to use while I am walking for some reason. I wonder if the Venty would be an improvement in that regard. Eventually I’ll probably get a Venty. Unless I wait so long they come out with a Venty+ or another vaporizer. Thanks again for the review, Troy.
I’m on my second Mighty+ and it’s my daily driver. I use the pods to help keep my main unit clean. I understand the Venty has a bigger bowl but I haven’t seen anything about new pods. Sounds like it uses the existing ones. I guess if you use pods you dont get the advantage of the bigger oven
It’s only a little bit bigger, so the dosing capsules can work with it. But the capsules impede the increased air flow. I use capsules with my Mighty Plus and Mighty OG but I don’t use them with the Venty. Clean up is still easy.
Would you say that the very big airflow would keep the bowl cooler so in effect, it is more convection in that wide open state?
I think there’s a good reason why the UP and DOWN buttons have a different click sound.
I think this feature is for those who have an eyesight problem so the difference of the sound helps to know which button have you clicked on.
Keep pressing the bottom repeatedly,it will go away ,the screen might then be clicks ,again if you. Put your nail under the edge on top of the screen o ring ,not under at the led around the top edge which sets the oring on the screen better and makes these noises go or better ,I’d to send my 2nd venty in for this ,SnB say it’s normal?
Not on a 450 vape ,they replaced it to a much better one ,
Still did it but after many clicks on top botton and resetting the led screen o ring it’s good ,both buttons the same
Firmware now sat 1.05 so tells when superboosts going off or if you don’t want to press button use the up botton motor ,it now senses ever draw and stays on ,no more switching off if your draw isn’t big like used to be ,
But clicks button use it a lot ,my click even on this 3ed eventually went ,
Or SnB will now have to see it as a fault ,if in more units
They made out I was mad ,but my second was really bad ,just keep pressing it it should start sounding the same and not affect the screens moving /click
If doesnt get better its a fault ,but try repeated clicking top button to break it in so to speak ,

Thanks for the review Troy! This felt a little *too* clean like you may be sponsored by Storz, but your review style is superb and the way you esteem Storz is consistent with a lot of what I see in the dry herb vape world.
I’ve been medicating via combustion for a long time and want to make the switch to vaporization, emphasizing vapor quality and ease on the lungs. I’ve been choosing between the Tinymight 2 or the Arizer Solo 2 Max but because of Storz’ reputation I’m going to spend the extra jingle and give the Venty a try.
My deciding factor was everyday use and this review addressed that perfectly. I think the Venty will be the intro to vapor that I am searching for!
lols, It’s probably “too clean” because I worked on this for 4 months. This is the first vape review that I wrote first before shooting a review video. I’ve spent more time with my thoughts and reflected on many things. I’m still reflecting on the pricepoint and affordability… more needs to be said on that front, as well as the error04 “problems”.
The TM2 is wonderful, but there’s a bit of apples/oranges in the comparison. Give it another week, maybe something new will come along ;)
S&B’s lack of quality assurance concerns me. I will not buy a most expensive product with latent defects. S&B brand image is degrading.
I agree that they could do better. But at the same time we don’t know the actual percentage of bad units. Users with faulty venty are the most vocal, which makes it seem like they’re all bad – but they’re not.
Is it OK to get a Venty now that they did a software update. Have not seen much online lately which is a good thing I think.
IMO yes, but the Solo 3 is also very enticing.
