It’s incredible that the Mighty is still at the top of the portable dry herb vape market, but it just goes to show that interface and ease of use dominate over fancier devices.

The Mighty is already easy to use, but over the years of using it as my daily cannabis consumption device, I’ve discovered a few tips and tricks that make the Mighty even better. Enjoy!

Mighty Tips & Tricks

Tip #1 – Turn your Mighty ON before loading! Simple time-saving maneuver here. The Mighty takes over a minute to warm up and I’m sure you can load your bowl before it’s even hot!

Tip #2 – Replace the coarse mesh screen in the cooling unit with the fine mesh screen from the bowl. The Mighty comes with extra screens and this is well worth it. This Mighty upgrade will greatly reduce maintenance efforts.

Tip #3 – Use the pick as a stand. By inserting the Mighty stir/pick tool backward, it becomes a pseudo-stand – holding the Mighty vertical so you can load it or simply display it on a shelf. It’s not super secure though, so if you need to truly upright your Mighty you should just buy a stand.

Tip #4 – Start hitting your Mighty before it reaches a set temperature. I like to start hitting my Mighty once it reaches 300F. The clouds will be whispy but tasty. These pre-hits will slow down your heat up a bit, but you’re already vaping – shortcut!

Tip #5 – Temp Stepping – To maximize the vapor and extraction, start at a lower temperature and gradually increase the vape temp as your session progresses. I like to start at 330 and vape until it starts to taste stale, usually 3 or 4 hits. I’ll increase the temp 10 or 15 degrees every 2 or 3 hits, or until the vapor goes stale. The Mighty maxes out at 410F.

Tip #6 – Use Passthrough Charging when you can – especially during the heat-up time! The Mighty uses more power during its heat-up cycle than it does when it’s warmed up. Even a 60-second plug-in during heat-up can have drastic improvements on battery performance.

Tip #7 – Keep your batteries between 30-90% charged if you’re not using your Mighty often. If you’re using your Mighty as a daily vape you can ignore this tip completely.

Free Tip – Use the “Mouth to Lung” technique if the Mighty is too potent for you.

Tip #8 – Empty your bowl AS. SOON. AS. YOU’RE. DONE.
Letting the spent herb cool down inside the chamber is bad. It clogs the screens and stains the sidewalls of the bowl. Plus it’s EASIER to empty when it’s still warm.

Tip #9 – Don’t tap the Cooling Unit on the top of the Mighty. This is a tip to myself, that I obviously still struggle with. Tapping the cooling unit on the top edge of the Mighty will break the top edge of the Mighty. It won’t really affect performance at all, but my Mighty is broke AF around the top because of my tap-habit.

Tip #10 – SIMPLE Q-TIP CLEAN while the Mighty is still warm. This is a life-changer if you’re OK with throwing away globs of gooey reclaim honey. After vaping a bowl or two in the Mighty, pop open the Cooling Unit and q-tip out the inside. If you’ve replaced the CU screen with the fine screen as Tip number 2 instructs, the inside of your cooling unit will be covered in honey. This THC reclaim will wipe off with a q-tip or an alcohol prep pad.

No need to fully disassemble and soak. I do this every 5 or 10 Mighty bowls and I only deep clean once or twice PER YEAR.
