NEW VAPE: Magic Flight PICO

Update: RIP Pico. The product is no longer being manufactured.

The PICO – Magic Flight’s new vaporizer/combustionizer electric one hitterizer

Last week Magic Flight slipped this little ‘electric one-hitter’ onto their site. It’s an experimental build and an alpha product. Even the name PICO is just a temporary placeholder.

The PICO is designed to vaporize AND/OR combust, giving the user the freedom to completely extract their material.

Like the Magic Flight Launch Box, it has a bit of a learning curve. It heats up in about 3 seconds, and hits combustion around 7-10 seconds.

I haven’t mastered it, and at this point I’m too high to continue trying.

It’s tiny. 1.96″L x .75″W x .36″H. The inside diameter of the stem is 2.1mm (.08″)

It’s not overly difficult to hold and activate the battery. Awkward at first, but I think it will be easy to adapt to.

Gripping the battery with the lower 3 fingers, and holding the PICO with thumb and index finger. This grip is easy to activate and deactivate the PICO.

Magic Flight PICO: First Impressions:

I’m not a fan of combustion, but I don’t avoid it completely. It makes my mouth feel icky and everything tastes like shit for a while.
The PICO doesn’t give that full combustion mouth disaster, or at least it I haven’t been able to drive it that far.

I’m not going to complain about the build because it’s alpha – which means there could be several design iterations before this product is ‘official.’
Mine had a few loose slivers and the metal slide was so loose that it fell off.

I love that it comes with two gold MFLB batteries ($12 value) plus a battery case.

I’m excited to get to know this tiny little vape. I microdose often with the VapCap and I think this will be a better solution for me. The trench is super tiny – the perfect size for microdosing. I’ll start using it tomorrow and will post an update soon.

I've been medicating with vaporizers, legally, since 2012. I started reviewing dry herb vaporizers and other cannabis products in 2015. I fell in love with creating content around vapes and cannabis vaporization. I'm passionate about the topic and the community. I love bringing people together and I love helping them understand the ins and outs of vaping weed.
