Davinci EQ Review – Davinci Vaporizers first E-RIg

The Electric Quartz, or EQ, is Davinci’s first attempt at a dabbing device. Davinci has several successful dry herb vaporizers on its resume. They’ve built their brand and reputation around purity and flavor.

The EQ follows suit with an all-glass, quartz atomizer and vapor path. You can even see your concentrates melting from all sides – talk about full transparency.

Davinci EQ Features

The Davinci e-rig is loaded with cool features.

  • Touch Screen Display
  • Smart Path Temperatures
  • Customizable Background Images
  • Full Temp & Time Control
  • Magnetic atomizer
  • Quartz Dab Dish (bottom heated)
  • Ceramic Zirconia Mouthpiece
  • Ceramic Zirconia Carb Cap
  • USB-C Charging

No Fluff, here’s the Jist

The EQ tastes good because it’s all glass and quartz, but it hits soft with normal-sized dabs.

It works better at higher settings and with larger dabs.

The EQ is bottom-heated. Other rigs are heated from the sides. It does not perform as well as the Puffco or the Dr. Dabber Switch 2.

There may be advantages to the all-quartz setup, but if you’re dabbing for efficiency and impact, the Davinci EQ isn’t for you.

I’m a big fan of Davinci, but I can’t find any reason to buy, use, or recommend this vape.

  1. I wonder if S&B made an E-Rig would it be the same outcome. Seems E-Rig and Flower vape companies should stick to what they know.

    1. Ya it wouldn’t surprise me! I shared ball vapes with the CEO of S&B and they were way too intense for him.
I think europeans will dab differently than american dab culture… slower, softer. Maybe the Davinci will do well in countries new to dabs!

  2. I don’t know if buddy was hitting it correctly. My eq has out performed my carta in its first 2 weeks of ownership already. More flavor, smaller clouds but this is getting back to real dabs.

    1. Smaller clouds but back to real dabs? I’ve tried everything and it feels like a waste of rosin :(

      1. I feel like this is what I have experienced. Honestly seems like the concentrate just sits inside the crucible and evaporates with you maybe getting 25% of the vapor…
