There are a lot of new terminologies to learn when first getting into weed vaporizers. (full list of most common weed vape terms) One of the most often used terms: ABV What is ABV?ABV is the spent cannabis remains left behind by a dry herb vaporizer. ABV stands for Already Been Vaped. It’s sometimes referred to…
During Black Friday I shopped around looking for a new grinder. I’ve always had my eye on the 2.5 inch Super Weapon, they normally go for $50, but during Black Friday the SW was marked down to $20. I decided to add the Super Weapon to my collection! I’ve used the Super Weapon for a…
Ganja Gold is a high end cannabis extract brand in California. I recently tested a few of their “Live Resin” cartridge vapes. The 510 carts I tested were filled with distillate and they were absolutely delicious. Compared to ANY other cartridge I have tasted, the Ganja Gold cartridges are easily a notch above the absolute…

I put together the following guide to help you customize your Pax 2 or 3 or even the newest Pax Plus to make it stand out from the rest. The Hydrology 9 is a dry herb / cannabis vaporizer with built-in water filtration. It’s a simple device with the oven on the bottom and a borosilicate glass mouthpiece on the top. There’s nothing fancy about the heating technology. It’s a basic conduction heater with a built-in stir tool. The oven holds about .2g of…
The OG Mighty vaporizer is $319, which is actually a hundred bucks less than it was originally. The Mighty Plus is $399. I can get two ounces of pretty damn good weed for $399, so for me to tell you, “Yes, the Mighty is absolutely worth $399” I better damn well mean it. And I…

The Vaporslide V2 is the latest 510 vape creation from the Vaporslide team. Their product line utilizes the standard 510 thread cartridge. These cartridges…
A while back I wrote a guide for people looking to vape indoors without getting caught. I received a ton of feedback about it, the majority of which suggested getting a smoke Buddy and Ozium would be enough to never get caught. On my most recent snowboarding trip to Mammoth Mountain, I decided to take…
We live in a disposable vaporizer world, but you don’t have to support the landfill model! Most vapes these days aren’t user serviceable, other than charging and cleaning. The battery or batteries are embedded, often locked inside. When the batteries go bad, the whole device is typically thrown away. While some premium brands like Storz…
If you’re a daily user, the replacement parts for the Mighty and Crafty can become a tiresome expense. It’s not that they’re overly expensive at $5 for 3 sets… but if you’re blowing seals every 2 months, that’s $10/year. And chances are you’re only needing to replace the small one and not the bigger ones…
Last season I went snowboarding with a variety of different vapes and picked my 5 favorite weed vapes to take snowboarding. This season I’ve been snowboarding almost exclusively with my Mighty vaporizer. Naturally, I’m always looking for ways to improve the experience. I decided my trip to Mammoth would be the perfect place to test the…
I picked up the Omicron last summer when I needed something to compare to the Vivant Dabox and the Humboldt Sionara. It’s a wax pen style of vaporizer, but what makes it unique is the separable atomizer and battery. The Omicron is sold as a single vaporizer, but it is really two separate products –…
The Pax Plus and Pax Mini are popular dry herb vaporizers. The Pax brand has a reputation for durability and mainstream staying power. The Pax vaporizer is often referred to as the Apple iPhone of weed vaporizers Ten years ago, if you wanted a pocketable weed vape capable of getting you stoned on the ski…

The Fury 2 is a powerful little dry herb by Healthy Rips. Before the recent price drop, this vape was $150 and selling like hotcakes. Its hybrid heating offers the most pleasurable vapor of any vape on this list. Watch my Fury 2 review video. The Fury 2 bowl holds as little as .05 and…
The Xvape Starry is a Pax-Killer. This ONE-HUNDRED DOLLAR vape comes with a nice 4-piece grinder AND a tight-vac dry herb storage container. The Starry features full temp control, magnetic mouthpiece, and a removable 18650 battery. I like the vapor from the Starry better than I like the vapor from a Pax. This is a…
The VapCap M is the best dry herb vape less than $100. Dynavaps are portable vapes that are heated with a torch OR a portable induction heater. The Vapcap produces some of the quickest and tastiest vapor available. I consider the VapCap M a must-own vaporizer, as long as you’re comfortable with small pocket-torches. Vapcap…
This is a blog post documenting George’s vape-testing road trip. When I first started reviewing weed vapes, George helped me test dry herb vaporizers and grinders. He liked vaping weed better than smoking, and he had a few vapes of his own to share. In this review, he took a road trip with several portable…
The Pax Plus and the older Pax 3 and Pax 2 are the most popular weed vaporizers available. Although many people have purchased these vapes, only a fraction have actually experienced the full potential of their Pax vapes. For best results, one should run the Pax through a bong or a water pipe. Using a…
